Samuel Vanderhoek MD

I am a pediatric anesthesiologist at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Additionally, I see patients in the Children’s Center for Perioperative Optimization and am a member of the advanced regional anesthesia team. I also serve as Director of Perioperative Ambulatory Services for the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center where I provide clinical and operational leadership for a multi-site pediatric ambulatory practice. I am interested in risk stratification tools in pediatric ambulatory anesthesia and using large data sets to develop evidence-based care guidelines.
