SAMBA and SPA Webinar: An Update on Malignant Hyperthermia: Anesthesiology's Disease

This will be an opportunity to catch up with "all things MH" in thirty minutes. Reasons that ambulatory anesthesiologists should stay current with MH will also be discussed. 

Learning Objectives: 

• Identify at least three conditions or clinical scenarios that predispose a patient to malignant hyperthermia (MH).
• Describe five key steps to prepare the anesthesia workstation and operating room for a patient at risk for MH.
• Compare and contrast Ryanodex with traditional dantrolene formulations, highlighting differences in dosing, reconstitution, and cost.
• Discuss advantages and limitations of genetic testing for MH susceptibility.
