Mid Year Meeting online registration
is now closed. Please register at the meeting |
Register by September
22nd and pay $145 for members; $195 for nonmembers; and $50 for
residents. After September 22, the rate is $195 for members; $245
for nonmembers; and $100 for residents. Registrations that are either
faxed or mailed to the SAMBA office, must be received by September
22. Online registrations will be accepted until October 3. After
October 3, only onsite registrations will be accepted.
Registration includes the course syllabus, all
educational presentations, a continental breakfast, luncheon and
coffee breaks. It is recommended to register early as space is limited.
Nonmembers who register for this meeting, will be given a SAMBA
trial membership for 2007.

Target audience
This meeting is designed for anesthesiologists and practitioners
who specialize in ambulatory anesthesia and for scientists working in
the areas of basic and clinical sciences.
Needs Assessment
Topics for this meeting were selected by several methods.
Suggestions for future topics were derived from evaluations of the 2005
and other previous mid year and annual meetings. Additionally, these suggestions
were discussed by our authorities in the field of ambulatory anesthesia
with educators who attended previous Annual, Mid Year and Board of Directors
meetings.
CME Accreditation
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance
with the Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing
Medical Education through the Joint Sponsorship of the American Society
of Anesthesiologists and the Society for Ambulatory Anesthesia.The American
Society of Anesthesiologists is accredited by the Accreditation Council
for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education
for physicians.
The American Society of Anesthesiologists designates
this educational activity for a maximum of 7.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.
Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their
participation in the activity.

Educational Goals: The attendee should be familiar with the
difference between requirements and recommendations for safe anesthesia
care; Gain an understanding of a variety of perioperative anesthesia
information systems and how data gathered by those systems can be
used to facilitate better outcomes in the medical specialty of anesthesiology;
and Understand the need for compliance with existing local policies
and documentation of perioperative events.

Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina in San Diego, California on May 3-6, 2007.
Only abstracts that are submitted online via the SAMBA Web site at www.SAMBAhq.org
will be considered for grading.
For abstract submission and Resident Travel Award information,

1, 2007.
