Now Available: The 2005 SAMBA Poster Presentations (PDF-820 KB)

A preconvention workshop on Preoperative Evaluation and Perioperative Medicine will be presented in conjunction with the SAMBA 20th Annual Meeting program. The preconvention workshop will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2005, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:15 p.m., at
the Camelback Inn, A J.W. Marriott Resort and Spa.

Faculty will include both internists and anesthesiologists, discussing topics such as mechanisms for preoperative evaluation; evaluation and optimization of disease states (congestive heart failure, hypercoagulable states, liver disease); and considerations for the geriatric and pediatric outpatient.

Individuals interested in attending the special preconvention workshop must also register for the SAMBA 20th Annual Meeting. Enrollment for the preconvention workshop is limited and advance registration is suggested.
