The
Members
Only section of the SAMBA Web site is now available. In
this section, SAMBA members will find an electronic membership directory
for their reference. The Committee on Communications plans
to add other items to the section in the upcoming months.
Please feel free to send your suggestions on what you would like
to see in the Members Only section to samba@asahq.org.
SAMBA Members must enter a password and user name to gain entrance to the Members Only section. All members in our email database have been sent this information. If you did not receive it, please email SAMBA at samba@asahq.org.
The president of SAMBA, Dr. Kathryn McGoldrick, has announced the SAMBA committee chairs and members for 2004-2005. The SAMBA committees are an integral part of our society, and it is through their efforts that the missions of the society are carried out. SAMBA encourages individuals who may be interested in becoming a member of a committee to read a summary of the committees' functions here.
A list of the SAMBA 2004-2005 committees and their members is available on the SAMBA Web site. If you would like to become a member of a committee, please send us a note.
SAMBA MIDYEAR MEETING IN OCTOBER 2004: ON-LINE REGISTRATION CLOSING SOON - TOP
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to register on-line for the SAMBA 2004 Mid Year Meeting. On-line registration through the SAMBA Web site will be available until September 19, 2004.
This year's conference will be held in the exciting city of Las Vegas on October 22, 2004. The theme is "What's New in Ambulatory Anesthesia?" In addition to five very informative panel sessions, a special luncheon lecture has been added this year, titled " Getting Tricked by Medical Software and Devices? Let's See Through the Unintended Magic!"

Mark your calendars for the 20th Annual SAMBA Meeting, to be held May 12-15, 2005 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Plan now to attend this unique educational experience bringing together internationally known experts from across the field of ambulatory anesthesia!
Abstract submission deadline is February 14, 2005. Electronic submission of abstracts will be available soon on the SAMBA Web site. Only abstracts submitted electronically will be considered for grading.
